Continuing on from last week, we’re talking about Feng Shui, and how by making a few small changes to your bedroom might help you to Increase your luck this year…
How to Feng Shui Your Bedroom- Part Two
✤ Art – Hang the ‘art’ that you love always at eye level, and be careful of what that art (whether a sculpture or a painting) is depicting. Generally, the pieces of art that you choose for your bedroom should portray happiness, enjoyment and good times. Makes sense.
✤ Electronics – Keep all electronics ie. mobile phones, ipads, laptops etc. away from your sleeping zone at night, better yet, put them in another room. Why? We are all electrical beings, surrounded by energy, and it’s madness to think that these electronic gadgets don’t interfere with our sleep. However if you can’t live without your mobile phone to hand during the night, put it as far away from you as you can stand Tip It is said that an amethyst crystal placed on your bedside table will get rid of negative energy, and will create a protective shield of light around the body.
✤ Decor – Decorate your bedroom with soothing colours and create a calm and tranquil atmosphere. Creams, corals, peaches, light blues and soft greens are all a good Feng Shui choice. Reds and oranges are best left to accents such as a cushion, a throw or a vase.
